Investment grant for small and medium-sized Ida-Viru enterprises

We support the diversification of the Ida-Viru economy

With the grant, we contribute to the growth competitiveness and added value of small and medium-sized enterprises in Ida-Viru County that create new jobs or maintain existing ones. We encourage companies to diversify their business practices.
The grant can be used to invest in product development, as well as in the development of processes related to the company’s product or service.

Who is the main target of the grant?

Companies entered in the Estonian business register whose field of activity or the field of activity of the project for which support is requested falls within the following EMTAK sectors can apply for this grant:

  • C section – manufacturing (except the following, see the estonian web-page)
  • D section – electricity, gas, steam and air conditioning supply (except the following, see the estonian web-page)
  • E section – reuse of materials in part 383
  • I section – accommodation and food service activities
  • J section – information and communication
  • M section – professional, scientific and technical activities

The applicant of the grant must be a small or medium-sized enterprise (SME).

What qualifies for a grant?

We support the creation of new enterprises or units, the development of new products or provision of new services, an increase in production capacity or the complete restructuring of an existing enterprise’s entire production process:

  • the purchase of machinery and equipment and the intangible assets needed for their use, including connection to a network or the modification of an existing network connection
  • applying for the primary protection of intellectual property resulting from the development of a new product
  • development of processes related to the enterprise’s product or service
  • drafting a ‘do no significant harm’ principle assessment
